Office of the Assistant Vice President
for Student Services

The Office of the Assistant Vice President for Student Services serves as the administrative arm of the student services division comprised of the following areas:

• financial aid
• registrar/admissions & records
• student life
• personal counseling
• student health

The Office handles, interprets, enforces, disseminates system, university and division directives, policies or regulations to the various areas; manages and oversees the division budget and computer utilization, including internal technical support; manages division personnel and other related human resource issues; approves and oversees student-oriented publications such as the University Catalog, Student Guide, Commencement Programs, Applicant Viewbooks, and the Certificate and Degree Programs brochure; manages, maintains and updates the official division Web site; communicates and interacts with members of the campus community on broad policy issues that impact the division and university; and facilitates, supports, and provides guidance for all components of the Student Services division regarding their respective operation and mission.
