Dining Services

The Health Science Center's Dining Services has several different locations on the Long Central Campus serving food and beverages. The Texas Star Café is located on the first floor of the Dental School, across the courtyard from the School of Nursing. Other locations serving food are located on the third floor of the School of Medicine Lecture Hall Commons (Breezeway). Texas Star Café - Mon.-Fri., 7 a.m.-2 p.m.

Subway - Mon.-Fri., 8 a.m.-3 p.m. (June-August, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.)

Java City & Freshens - Mon.-Thurs., 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. / Fri. until 2:00

C3 Express - Mon.-Thurs., 7 a.m.-7 p.m. / Fri. 7 a.m.-5 p.m.

Hours for all services are subject to change on holidays and summer schedules.

The Health Science Center's Bookstore, located across from the School of Nursing, sells a variety of food, beverages, and snack items. Hours are Mon.-Thurs., 8 a.m.-6 p.m. / Fri.., 8 a.m.-5 p.m. / Sat., 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Hours are subject to change on holidays, special circumstances, and summer schedules.

Next door to the HSC main campus, the University Hospital cafeteria serves a wide variety of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. On the opposite side of University Hospital, is the V. A. Hospital cafeteria, located in the Audie Murphy Memorial Veteran's Administration hospital.

Numerous other restaurants, pharmacies, and convenience stores are located within walking and driving distance of the Long and Greehey campuses.
