
Student Activities
Student Life coordinates transition programs, which may include workshops, seminars, special classes, peer counseling, social events, and pertinent retention programs. We also collaborate with students in the implementation of programs and activities that support students’ personal and professional development, while enhancing the student “experience.” In addition, our high-quality programs enable the development of essential life skills, critical thinking, leadership, lifelong learning, and oral and written communication skills.
There are more than 50 recognized student organizations here. Most are professional- and discipline-specific. Others are cultural, religious, social, or special interest.
Through additional participation in University-related activities, you will have the opportunity to discover multicultural and global perspectives, civic and individual responsibility, respect for individuals, a sense of competence, and the capacity to work well with others.
