Housing Information

The Health Science Center has no dormitories or housing accommodations. Apartments near the Health Science Center lease at approximately $500 for an efficiency; $600 for a 1BD/1B; $750 for 2BD/1B; $800 for 2BD/2B. The amount depends upon amenities offered. Complexes which pay all utilities generally charge higher rents. Most require 6- or 12-month leases and security deposits. Furniture rental companies in the area charge moderately.

The Office of Student Life maintains a database of available housing as well as a list of students seeking roommates for UT Health Science Center students, faculty, and staff only. Bulletin boards throughout the campus carry notices from students looking for roommates, subleasing apartments, selling mobile homes, etc. Call Student Life at (210) 567-2654.

Notary Services

Notary Public service for current HSC students is available free, for school-related documents only, in the Registrar's Office, 319L MED, and the Student Life Office, 314L MED, on central campus.

Graduation

OSL coordinates both Orientation and Graduation Ceremonies and Activities. Also available are Commencement Schedules for 2007-2010.
