The Office of Student Life maintains a listing of available housing as well as a list of students seeking roommates for UT Health Science Center students, faculty, and staff only. In addition, bulletin boards throughout the campus carry notices from students looking for roommates, subleasing apartments, selling mobile homes, etc.

Apartments near the Health Science Center lease starting at approximately $500 for an efficiency; $600 for a 1BD/1B; $750 for 2BD/1B; $900 for 2BD/2B. The amount depends upon amenities offered and may increase with time and with changes in the economy. Complexes which pay all utilities generally charge higher rents. Most require 6- or 12-month leases and security deposits. Furniture rental companies in the area charge moderately.
